     The motto of the Elks National Veterans Service Commission is "So long as there are Veterans, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will never forget them."  Elks lodge 819 upholds this motto through the Adopt-A-Vet program. Each month we make visists to Marion and Anna VA centers to play bingo with the Veterans and to give out refreshments and comradery to them as well. The Lodge also hosts a Veteran's Steak Night program in November honoring Vetrans from both VA centers as well as area veterans.

     We always welcome volunteers to help us with our monthly visits and the November Steak Night. For information please email the Lodge Veteran's chaiperson by clicking the link below.
